You Matter
In the second week of the semester, one of my students asked me, “How do we define positive Impact? Isn’t that up to me?”
Heck to the yes, Payton, it is.
The way your business makes an impact is up to you.
The most meaningful contribution should be one that your employees, customers, and investors all agree on. How do you get there?
Pick a sustainable development goal that you think is important.
Identify a cause that is relevant to your business.
Find at least one way your business can use its existing resources to create impact. (Philanthropy, volunteering, product innovation and partnerships are all great options.)
Once you’ve done that, you work to make sure your employees, customers, partners, and investors know what you stand for.
It’s up to them to decide what businesses they support (or don’t.)
Here with you,
Dora
