Its Okay to Ask
Last month I had the opportunity to connect with the Q&A on Breakthrough Leadership Podcast to talk about how ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) impacts business strategy. I'd done my research, so I knew that the hosts were a great blend of easy conversation with some hard-hitting questions thrown in. I was prepared.
But I almost fell out of my chair when the real question finally came out: How do I know this isn't just 'Woke' BS?
It felt like someone had just asked the question others have been tiptoeing around for years.
I was so glad someone finally asked.

But to steal a line from Louis, "ESG is not marketing – it's a strategic opportunity, and there's a smorgasbord of opportunity to integrate impact into your business."
I'd say he was listening.
